Turn your great gravy into extraordinary gravy by following these steps below.
Your choice of roast, cooked to your liking
125ml red/white wine or stock of your choice
½ - 1 tablespoon Taste #5 Umami Bomb
- After roasting, remove the meat from the roasting pan and set aside.
- Now put the roasting pan on top of the hob on a high heat and add the wine or stock and Umami Bomb. Stir until combined, making sure you really scrape the bottom of the pan to get all those deliciously crispy bits mixed in – that is where the extra flavour comes from.
- Bring to the boil and reduce until you have the desired consistency. Strain if you prefer a smooth gravy.
